Les collections de plumes d'oiseaux -

I read the forum guidelines and did not find any rule only to write in french so I try to introduce myself in english. If someone translate this into french it would also be nice I had french about 3 years in school but it's still too bad to call a pizza.

I collect feathers for about 20 years, I'm 26 years old now ... (^^). I started with single feathers out of my garden and now I only collect full sets from dead birds and plucked feathers. I have about 1000 specimens in 500 different species with some subspecies additionally. I started in the year 2009 with creating a website for feathers. It was called Federbestimmung.de. Since this year it turned into the new international website www.featherbase.info wich is currently available in german, english, polish, spanish and dutch. With your help french might follow.

For my collection I use a 300g/m² grey paper - the color is called "stone grey" and use transparent glue "Duosan Rapid". Earlier I also used cello tape and hot glue but these did not satisfy me. I try to mount as much detail as possible when creating a "feather sheet". I put some examples into this attachment.
